A fall harvest at Colonial Williamsburg. This plot of land has been dedicated to crops that would have been grown at Great Hopes Plantation. It used to house sheep from time to time, and I saw my first sheep shearing in this field. Although I miss seeing the sheep in this area, I have enjoyed being able to watch the garden. What a delight when I saw this fall harvest! My harvest wasn't as grand, but I was so happy to get at least one little sugar pumpkin! That's success for a part-shade garden!
My first homegrown pumpkin!
